KWB Project FLUSSHYGIENE wins AQUA AWARD 2019

The FLUSSHYGIENE project has won the Berlin AQUA AWARD 2019. This award is presented each year by the Aquanet Berlin-Brandenburg, the network of the Water Sector in the Capital Region Berlin- Brandenburg, to recognise outstanding achievements of the Berlin water industry. On 18 May, project leader Dr. Pascale Rouault received this year’s award from Prof. Geißen in the presence of Christian Rickerts, State Secretary of the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, and other representatives from politics, business and science. The prize for special achievements of junior scientists went to Johannes Wolfgang Neupert for his master thesis on the quantification of the transfer of tire particles into surface waters submitted to the TU Chair of Urban Water Management.
