On behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the networking and transfer project ReWaMnet invites to participate in the ReWaM closing event in Berlin. During the one and a half day event, the key findings from the 15 ReWaM research associations will be presented and discussed with representatives from water research institutions and the water industry. The aim of ReWaM is to demonstrate how different ways of utilisation of water bodies can be brought in line with their protection in order to permanently maintain biodiversity and ecosystem efficiency. This applies to rural, peri-urban as well as to urban regions. The findings are intended to support the actors in the water industry in their work and to provide them with essential information on new methods, innovative instruments and decision-making principles.

Kompetenzzentrum Wasser Berlin will present the research results of the joint project Flusshygiene achieved in cooperation with its research partners.

Attending the event is free. Conference language is German.
